What Is Pez?
Before digging into any detail. Let’s answer First and give a brief description to Pez. So, what is PEZ candy?

Despite the fact that Pez was produced for the first time in Austria, doesn’t mean that it is not well known. On the contrary, its popularity is worldwide thus billions of PEZ candies are consumed annually in the U.S.A.
Are Pez Vegan? Fully Explained
According to Pez’s nutrition facts & allergen information. All used ingredients aren’t derived from animals.
sugar is not filtered with bone char, Coloring is not extracted from animals, the same thing to artificial & natural flavors.
mono & diglycerides are not sourced from animal fat, dairy, Fish or eggs ingredients.
The corn syrup, adipic acid, hydrogenated palm kernel & palm oils are definitely plant-based not derived from animals.

How Are Pez Made
Starting from the Facility that has a sugar silo that holds 70,000 pounds of granulated sugar.
The Factory Goes through 100,000 pounds on an average week, the sugar is brought into the factory where it’s broken down into smaller finer sugar similar to confectionary sugar.
Breaking down the sugar allows for color absorption and absorption, and makes the sugar much easier to compress, once this Bowl has reached 600 lbs. it stops filling automatically.
The next step is bringing the bowl to the Glatt Granulate mixer, this is when fruit flavoring and colors are added to make unique mixes.
The flavored mix is poured into a rotator, which has a funnel at the top that holds 1200 pounds of the mix, and the mixing process takes about 50 minutes.
The mix is compressed with 3000 pounds of force before being shaped into its final form; one 1200 pounds mix yields 800,000 individual tablets!
Finally, the tablets are brought to the wrapping room, where they are put into a hopper that sorts them into groups of 12, 12 million PEZ are produced at the factory each day, and wrapped into 1 million wrappers!
From the wrapping room, the individual PEZ candy rolls are loaded into the hopper where they are led to the packaging line to meet their dispenser.
Sensors ensure all PEZ candy rolls are following the same direction, the metal plates stamp out the plastic packaging for the dispensers and candies.
The newly formed plastic blister packs are dropped in line and filled with PEZ candy bolls the dispensers placed in the packaging
The Blister backs are applied and sealed then make their way to the final packaging stage, then dispensers are packed into displays & on their way to your favorite PEZ retailer

Are Pez Halal?
Pez is totally made without using any animal ingredients because all of the ingredients are vegan and this was confirmed by the Brand itself.
So, PEZ is made without using any haram ingredients since they are not based on animals, this makes PEZ Candy halal, and Suitable for Muslims.
Are Pez Kosher
According to PEZ, Amazon, Heb, and Walmart Penz are certified koshers.
